Minarets was founded in 2012 in Aotearoa New Zealand by Chris Holdaway and Lauren Strain as a journal of poetry and poetics. Today there is a guest editor for each issue, and we main a particular though non-exclusive commitment to poetry of the Pacific Region, while sea-levels still permit.
Each volume represents a phase of distinct material incarnation; as each new issue is printed, the previous is made freely available online.
